In 2021, Mahmoud made history as the first Egyptian to place 6th worldwide in the Microsoft MOS Championship — a milestone that reflects both technical skill and the determination to compete on a global level. His work since has earned national recognition, including the Young Inspiring Role Model Award and selection as an SDGs Ambassador, highlighting his commitment to building solutions that serve both people and society.

His leadership has taken DIME from idea to action, securing multiple startup awards, national grants, and the successful rollout of digital health pilots within the Egyptian healthcare system.
